30 galleries and art shops, including many from Germany and Switzerland, will hold the 4th international art fair, ART SALZBURG, with the Fortress serving as a picturesque backdrop.

It is summertime and Salzburg in its full magnificence. It is the Festival season and everything focused on art. Theater, music and the visual arts add a personal, very expressive facet to life, giving it a new purpose far from the everyday routine. ART SALZBURG celebrates the magic of art in an exclusive setting at one of the most beautiful venues in the Festival city.

Each year a growing number of outstanding exhibitors from Austria and abroad travel to Salzburg with a selection of their works.

High-caliber art is on display in the magnificent ambiance of Salzburg Residence. The venue, intimate for an art fair, allows gallery owners and art dealers to discuss their trade, far away from the hustle and bustle, in a relaxing, almost casual atmosphere. The strict policy of quality, not quantity is upheld and enhanced in an especially interesting spatial concept. The fair's color spectrum underlines the magnificent architecture of the Residence, adding another festive facet. The works of art are presented to an interested, knowledgeable, audience in a particular airiness and perfected museum setting.
