Salzburg Culture Days
The networking concept
Several event organizers ranging from the Landestheater to Cathedral Music and from the Palace Concerts to the Culture Society pooled their offers during two weeks in October under the name Salzburg Culture Days. The event primarily addresses opera, ballet and concert fans. The venues include Salzburg Cathedral, the Large Festival Hall, the Mozarteum and the Marble Hall in Mirabell Palace.
Salzburg Culture Society
The Salzburg Culture Society was founded in 1947. The signet of the horse tamer in front of the Festival Hall clearly shows that most of the Salzburg Culture Society's events are held at the Large Festival Hall. The Salzburg Street Theater was established in 1970, playing to thousands of spectators in the city and province of Salzburg each year during the Festival season. The Salzburg Culture Days were founded two years later.
