Cheap parking lots

If you are visiting Salzburg's historic city center and park in the Mönchsberg Garage ("Altstadtgaragen A and B"), be sure to have your ticket punched.

Many businesses in the Old City are happy to punch your parking ticket when you pay for your purchase, automatically reducing your parking fee at the Mönchsberg Garage.
Participating shops, restaurants, etc. display an orange parking sticker.

An inexpensive restaurant rate is available when you park in Basteigasse. or the Parking Garage of the Barmherzigen Brüder. If you park after 4:00 p.m., the parking fee is only € 3.00 with a punched ticket.
