Tour to the Kehlsteinhaus

The tour to the Kehlsteinhaus (also known as the "Eagle's Nest") leads through Grödig, across the border at Marktschellenberg to Berchtesgaden and directly up the Obersalzberg. Construction of the Kehlsteinhaus was commissioned by the NSDAP from 1937 to 1938 and used by Hitler to entertain visiting dignitaries. The "Eagle's Nest" is located at an altitude of 1,820 meters, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Today the building accommodates a historic exhibition and a restaurant.
