The Fortress Museum in the historic rooms of the castle keep at Hohensalzburg Fortress bear witness to the history of the Fortress and everyday life at the Fortress. Roman coins, ceramics and walls (now in ruins), a medieval heating system and Romanesque arcades can be admired as well as objects that no fortress can do without: weapons, suits of armor, torture instruments and a gold treasure.
