Events
The Residence Gallery Salzburg, housing the State of Salzburg's painting collection, presents European paintings from the 16th to 19th century.
(The magnificent ambiance is the ideal setting for Salzburg's state collection and reflects the city's baroque character.)
The collections focus on Dutch paintings from the 17th century, Italian, French and Austrian baroque paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries and Austrian paintings from the 19th century.
In addition to its own changing exhibitions, special exhibitions are offered regularly, providing an interesting juxtaposition between historic and contemporary art.
Opening hours 2012:
Tuesday-Sunday 10 am-5 pm.
Monday open: January 2, April 2- 9 (Easter),April 30, May 28 (Whitsuntide), July 23 - August 27, September 24,
November 19 - December 31, 2012.
Gallery closed: February 6-March 2, November 5-16 and December 24,2012
Guided tours by prior arrangement!
Tours in sign language are available for groups at any time by prior arrangement.

Children (0-6 years), school classes free
Children (6-16 years) € 2.00
Youths (17-18 years), students, groups of 15 adults or more, senior citizens € 5.00
