Feinkost Kölbl Delicatessen
Located in Mozart’s former residence on the Theatergasse is one of the last true delicatessens in the Festival City of Salzburg. The Kölbl Family’s exquisite shop looks back on a very colorful past, regarded even in 1892 as one of Salzburg’s leading addresses in all things culinary. Destroyed during the Second World War, the house was rebuilt true to the original in 1994. After two years of construction work, the business is now radiant in its brand-new splendor, without having had to surrender any of its historic character in the process.
The lovingly decorated delicatessen counter tempts customers with an array of high-quality specialties: Italian hors d’oeuvres, pâtés, prosciutto from Spain, Italy and Austria, plus much more.
In addition, home-made lunch is served daily at the standing tables (e.g. Bavette with Pesto-Genovese, fruit strudel), and supplemented by hearty snacks (such as sandwich rolls, oven-fresh roast beef, roast pork), crispy salads and freshly pressed fruit juices.
PRODUCT RANGE: Large delicatessen counter including Italian and Austrian specialities; chocolate, a range of international wines, teas from all over the world, fruit, fresh fruit juices, coffee, jams and marmalades, preserves, honey, oils, vinegars, gelees, rice, lentils, truffles (in season).
