Since 1993, “The Sound of Salzburg Show” has excited guests from around the world. Held at the Sternbräu – an exciting destination for diners in its own right, with deep Salzburg roots – this musical event focuses primarily on the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and a selection from “The Sound of Music”.
Whether the moving song “Edelweiss” from The Sound of Music or arias from Mozart’s Magic Flute, in “The Sound of Salzburg Show” you will hear many of those melodies that have made Salzburg world-famous. And in addition to popular hits from The Sound of Music as well as pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the cast will also put heart and soul into their performances of Alpine folk melodies and beloved operetta favorites.
Good to know: The entire show is hosted in English, making it especially appealing to international guests.
“The Sound of Salzburg Show” chose one of the most traditional addresses in Salzburg as its location. Close to the Getreidegasse and in the heart of the Salzburg historic district, it counts itself one of the oldest and biggest dining establishments in this city of Mozart.
Before and after the actual “The Sound of Salzburg Show”, guests also have the option of enjoying traditional Austrian cooking. You can order from three different three-course menus, or you may prefer an exquisite four-course meal with first-class seating arrangements. Upon request, the chefs are also happy to cater to the needs of vegetarians or seafood fans. In the banquet hall, your dinner is served to you in a very warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
