Dragon Laughter and Princess Things: A Listening Concert for Children

A magical concert for children that retells fairy tales: brave princesses, thoughtful dragons, and music to amaze, dance, and join in. For curious explorers aged 4 to 11.

In this interactive listening concert for children, familiar fairy tale images are humorously questioned: Does a princess really always have to wear pink? Can dragons also be thoughtful? And who actually cleans up when pots, plates, and various tins suddenly start to make music? The artists Carmen Joedicke and Christina Ottoson, as well as the duo Xymbal with Daniela Canata and Fernando Elias, invite everyone to listen, participate, and move – sometimes quietly listening, sometimes singing and dancing. The audience experiences the music up close and can follow the musicians on keys, strings, and vocal cords. Themes such as diversity, self-determination, and friendship are central, while classic clichés are playfully broken down.
