Special Exhibition "The Table is Set"
The exhibition “The Table Is Set" pulls together doll china sets from the museum’s collection. It documents how, over the course of time, the crockery played with by youngsters has changed just as much as that used by the grown-ups.
Colorfully set tables
Some of the doll tables are decorated in Baroque style, with small spoons and ornamented plates. With others, we see the elaborately painted porcelain and exquisite napkin rings popular in the time of Empress Sissi. Dolls are served tea and cookies on fancy plastic dinner services with vivid colors and flowers. And of course, you are also invited to set a table yourself using a wide selection of doll tea sets.
