Paragliding on the Gaisberg

The Gaisberg is a challenging alpine flying area and enjoys a legendary reputation as a long-standing launch site for the world's toughest paragliding race - the Red Bull® X-Alps.


The 1st Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club Salzburg is one of the oldest and best-known aviation sports clubs in the Alps. With over 650 active club members - including world champions, national champions and Hike&Fly athletes - it can look back on almost 100 years of aviation tradition on Salzburg's Gaisberg.
