The Sound Of Music The Sound Of Music Today is the birthday of singer Marni Nixon. Marni Nixon became famous as the singing voice of Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady, Natalie Wood in West Side Story and Deborah Kerr in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The King and I. Nixon finally appeared as a performer on camera while singing the part of Sister Sophia in the film The Sound Of Music.

Rose Gedman-Karluk Rose Gedman-Karluk I have always love the Sound Of Music. Twelve years ago when Al found out that he had cancer, he asked me to go back to Germany with him. He served in the army there for 3 years and loved it. So off we went, dispite my fear of flying. While there we went into Austria, and did the Sound of Music tour. Al & I got to dance in the gazebo and kiss and sing. What wonderful memories. Thank and praise the Lord, I still have my romantic husband and dance partner with me !!!!
