Freibad Volksgarten
The Volksgarten outdoor pool, the "Volksi", is the most traditional outdoor pool in the city. Salzburg residents have been swimming there since 1892.
Offer:
- 1,456 m² water area and approximately 20,000 m² green area
- two swimming pools
- a children's pool with a small slide and sun sail
- a paddling pool
- beach volleyball court, table tennis
- children's playground
Dogs are not allowed!

Daily 9 AM - 7 PM
If the weather is suitable for swimming: until 8 PM
(As of 04/2026)
Disabled persons: accessible WC, the top lip of the pool (and water surface) is approximately 40 cm above floor level; no disabled lift.
