When is it necessary to book?

Slots must be booked when one of the two coach terminals (Nonntal or Paris-Lodron) is approached to drop off and/or pick up guests to visit Salzburg's old town. Coaches coming to the terminal without an access permit may be subject to fines of as much as € 150!

No reservation is required if other destinations in the city of Salzburg, e.g. hotel, restaurant, school ... can be approached directly. Please note the inner-city driving ban for coaches from 8 am to 6 pm.

Does the booking process require me to provide a license plate number?

No, the number on the vehicle license plate is not required. In order to confirm that you have the right to access the terminal in question, on-site security staff will scan the QR-code on the voucher.

What is the difference between day- and overnight visitors?

If you select “overnight visitors”, it is possible to submit a booking for terminal reservations for all days within the duration of your stay in or close to Salzburg. The length of stay determines the validity period of the parking ticket, which you will receive free of charge for up to three days after completing your booking.

What are the charges?

  • Terminal use (= one-time drop-off and pick-up of passengers): € 70 per bus/per day.
  • For multiple use of the terminal on any given day, multiple bookings are required.
  • If passenger drop-off and pick-up are to occur on different days, 2 bookings are required.
  • These charges include the right to access the terminal, the costs of security staff and infrastructure at the terminal, as well as assignment of a free parking space for up to 3 days.

Are changes to reservations possible after the booking has been made?

  • Changes to the drop-off and/or pick-up time are possible until immediately prior to arrival and may be made free of charge using the customer web portal – subject to availability – please refer to the instructions.

  • Changes to the terminal, the date as well as the booked coach parking space are not possible.

  • If a terminal is needed for a day on which a terminal was not originally booked, a new reservation must be made.

How are reservation cancellations handled?

  • You can make cancellations (either the entire booking or for individual coaches/vouchers included in that booking) using the customer web portal – please refer to the instructions.

  • Cancellations are free up to 2 days prior to arrival, after which the cancellation fee is 100%.

  • If you are eligible for free cancellation, your credit card will be refunded the correct amount.

  • Your refund will be sent automatically.

  • Canceled slots become available immediately.
