Bumblebee flight in the botanical garden
With the slowest interpretation of Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee, the Chuchchepati Orchestra pays tribute to the endangered world of insects.
Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's onomatopoeic instrumental piece Flight of the Bumblebee has already been performed in 53.82 seconds, or 13 notes per second. In Bumblebee Flight II, the Chuchchepati Orchestra contrasts this with the slowest interpretation: in this concert, only one measure of the composition is interpreted, that is 8 notes in 40 minutes.
