Fidelio
The Salzburg Marionette Theatre is a „big“ theatre with „small“ actors. For more than 100 years, the puppets have enchanted grown-ups and children alike. The visitors are taken to a magical world of opera, fairy tale, or musical.
Beethoven's only opera is about a tyrannical ruler, an illegally imprisoned man and the irrepressible love of his wife, who does everything she can to free her husband. The Salzburg Marionette Theater is staging the opera on the occasion of the 250th birthday of L. v. Beethoven 2020 directed by Thomas Reichert.
