A pleasant walk to the World Heritage Salzburg lasts around 20 minutes or you just take the bus: the next bus-stop is at about 3 minutes distance (only 4 bus-stops to the centre). Arrival
Arriving by car: Whether you are traveling from Munich, Vienna or Villach – you will always hit the Austrian A1 motorway. Drive towards Salzburg and take the “Salzburg West” airport motorway exit. Drive to the traffic lights at the airport (Mercedes-Benz car dealership), turn left along the Innsbruck main road towards the city, at the traffic lights (Hotel Junior) turn right into Maxglaner Hauptstraße. After a few hundred meters you cross a small bridge. Immediately after the bridge turn left into Straubingerstrasse.
From the train station to Maxglan: Salzburg main station - bus line 1 (direction Europark) - stop "Eichetstraße-Maxglan". At the bus stop, walk towards the city center and after about 20m you will cross a small bridge.
