Mozart Bike Tour

This 390-km-long cycle path is probably the most beautiful way to follow the traces of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

On the Mozart Cycle Route through Salzburg

This cycle route is named after the composer W. A. Mozart, who was born in Salzburg. The route leads through the lake districts of Salzburg and Bavaria – with the Mozart town as the ideal starting and finishing point. Salzburg, where the two Mozart museums provide an insight into his life, rounds off the tour perfectly.

The route at a glance

The long-distance cycle route is divided into 16 stages that can be completed in about 10 to 14 days. Salzburg, Traunstein or Rosenheim are good starting points due to their excellent travel connections. A detour to the Mozart village of St. Gilgen on Lake Wolfgang is possible from Salzburg.
