At the end of the day: 100 years of New Objectivity
The 1920s and 1930s were loud, vibrant, and full of contradictions. Between metropolis and nightlife, work and pleasure, progress and uncertainty, a visual language of astonishing precision emerged, which has lost none of its impact to this day.
Starting from the Jan E. Fischer Private Collection and supplemented by loans from Austrian collections, the exhibition takes you from the studio to the streets of the vibrant metropolis, into the theater, and finally into the night.
