Baroque Concert - ConBrio
After its successful first guest performance, the Greek recorder ensemble Con Brio returns to Salzburg.
In the historic setting of the Sacellum, the ensemble presents a versatile concert featuring works from the Renaissance to jazz. The program includes compositions by Luzzasco Luzzaschi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Pachelbel, and Benjamin Britten, as well as arrangements by Beethoven, Johann Strauss II, Paul Desmond, Irving Berlin, and George Gershwin.
This concert thus connects historical music with modern soundscapes and showcases the extraordinary diversity of the entire recorder family.
