Experience a modern reinterpretation of Döblin's classic as an exciting music theater with electronic rhythms and melancholic sounds.
The musical theatre piece "Berlin Alexanderplatz" by Vivan and Ketan Bhatti will celebrate its premiere on April 11, 2026, at the Salzburg State Theatre. The piece addresses themes such as anonymity, isolation, and social inequality in the metropolis. Franz Biberkopf, the protagonist, tries to start a new life in Berlin after his release from prison.
A pre-performance introduction will take place 45 and 30 minutes before the show begins, offering the audience valuable insights.
