Camerata Soundbar: Scalpel and Ebony – What Do They Have in Common?
Chamber music meets exciting impulse lectures: Experience unusual connections between music, science, and art—with drinks and networking to follow.
In the CAMERATA Soundbar #1 'Scalpel and Ebony,' classical chamber music by the CAMERATA Salzburg merges with unusual perspectives from science and society. Under the motto 'What is the common denominator?,' personalities such as surgical instrument maker Armin Schorer and woodwind instrument maker Herbert Neureiter demonstrate how their fields—from medicine to craftsmanship—can be connected to music. During short impulse lectures between the musical performances, surprising bridges emerge: for instance, between scalpel and string instrument or between craftsmanship precision and artistic expression. The evening is moderated by Andreas Bräunig. After the approximately 45-minute program, an informal conclusion with drinks and finger food invites guests to exchange ideas with the speakers.
