Chamber Music Evening with Works by Fanny Hensel and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy

Enjoy an intimate chamber music evening featuring piano trios and string quartets by Fanny Hensel and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, performed by talented musicians from the Mozarteum Orchestra Academy.

As part of the joint event series with the University of Mozarteum Salzburg, piano trios and string quartets by Fanny Hensel and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy will be performed. The works of these two influential composers of the 19th century are characterized by lyrical melodies, harmonic diversity, and virtuosic chamber music arrangements.

Roberto González-Monjas, accompanied by members of the Constanze Mozart Orchestra Academy and students of the Mozarteum, will interpret the pieces. The concert offers an insight into the tradition of chamber music – music for small ensembles that captivates through intimate dialogues between the instruments – and connects established artists with emerging talents.
