A magical evening with fairy-tale sounds and profound lyrics by Georg Danzer. Charly Rabanser and the band 'Changes' bring the poetic concept album to the stage with dialect and emotion—a musical masterpiece full of hope.
On the occasion of Georg Danzer's 80th birthday and the 20th anniversary of his death, Charly Rabanser and the band 'Changes' present the concept album 'The Tattooist and the Moon Princess' from 1974. The work combines poetic and symbolic lyrics with multilayered music that reflects the broad spectrum of Danzer's artistic talent. Airy melodies alternate with melancholic sounds and jazzy elements—a musical Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art). The fairy-tale narrative of the Moon Princess encourages belief in the good and following one's own path, even when it seems difficult. The band 'Changes,' a trio from the Pinzgau region, interprets the pieces with emotion and in dialect. The lineup includes Albert Bernhard (guitar, vocals), Chris Ebenkofler (vocals, guitar, bass, piano), and Alex Gabriel (piano, bass, vocals). An evening full of hope and a tribute to the exceptional artist Georg Danzer.
