Caroline Athanasiadis and Klaus Oppitz deconstruct classic fairy tales and children's songs with musical cabaret and socially critical acumen. They expose problematic messages hidden behind seemingly harmless texts – such as toxic family relationships in “Little Red Riding Hood” or questionable moral concepts in “The Rainbow Fish.” Through pointed performances and exaggerated music, they question what children's literature looks like today and what unconscious norms it conveys.
