ALMA celebrates 15 years of musical creation with a concert that uniquely blends tradition and modernity. The five band members use their music to advocate for diversity and oppose populist simplifications. Their sound, shaped by violins, diatonic accordion, double bass, and polyphonic singing, creates familiar yet always surprising moments—vibrant, unifying, and full of energy. The ensemble, consisting of Julia Lacherstorfer, Evelyn Mair, Marie-Theres Stickler, Matteo Haitzmann, and Marlene Lacherstorfer, does not interpret tradition as a boundary but as a starting point for cultural exchange. Their music invites listeners to tune in, resonate, and embrace new sounds that feel both familiar and innovative.
