Karl Ratzer Sexteto Brazil presents a concert that celebrates the musical affinity between continents. The project "Brazil" arose from Ratzer's friendship with musicians from Brazil, North America, and Europe, offering original compositions and reinterpretations of classics from Brazilian and Latin American origins as well as North American jazz standards. Alongside Karl Ratzer, Peter Herbert on bass, Howard Curtis on drums, Yta Moreno as singer and guitarist, and percussionists Fred Mascavo and Ricardo Mateus will perform. The music combines melody with joy of playing and invites dancing.
