Die Ruhe im Sturm© Roman Scheidl
Exhibition: Roman Scheidl
In the ground floor of the gallery, current works on canvas by the artist Roman Scheidl, who was born in 1949 in Leopoldsdorf/NÖ and lives in Vienna, are displayed. Color, light, movement, space, and time form the fundamental themes of his painting. Abstraction, figuration, and narration blend into a poetic, light, and at the same time dynamic visual language. Scheidl's floating figures appear timeless and universal. In the connection of figurative and informal design, Roman Scheidl has developed a distinctive position within the new painting in Austria.
