Family Concert · A Christmas Carol
Charles Dickens' famous Christmas story.
With A Christmas Carol (German: Eine Weihnachtsgeschichte), Charles Dickens created a timeless Christmas classic in 1843. The touching story of the grumpy businessman Ebenezer Scrooge has since been filmed countless times and retold for stage and musical. In this concert, Frederic Böhle and Katharina Gudmundsson take their young audience on Scrooge's journey from a bitter Christmas grouch to a warm-hearted, generous person. In a lively way, listeners will experience how compassion, friendship, charity, and wonderful baroque and film music change Scrooge's heart. And of course, the three mysterious Christmas spirits also play a crucial role.
The performance lasts 60 minutes without an intermission.
