Halloween at the Zoo

Again this year, many "pumpkin lanterns" will be lit on Halloween, which will cast a spooky light over the zoo while zebra mongooses, capuchin monkeys, and others can enjoy one or another unusual treat.

Witches, ghosts, and other mysterious beings are warmly invited to prove their courage at various "Spook Stations." In addition to fun games and crafts, especially brave individuals can challenge their senses with the "Grab into the Unknown." Starting at 3:00 p.m., a witches' fire blazes in the African area by the cheetahs, where there is the opportunity to roast apples and enjoy small snacks.
The "Witch of Hellbrunnerberg" will once again conduct spooky zoo tours this year, offering fascinating insights into the lives of zoo animals. There are two opportunities to join her: one at 3:15 p.m. at the main entrance of the zoo and another at 5:00 p.m. by the cheetahs.

The last entry is at 5:30 p.m. at the main cash desk. The zoo gates close at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
