Hoffest beim Reiter Christer Bauer
Farm festival at Reiter-Christerbauer – Enjoyment from the Farm
On Sunday, September 6th starting at 11:00 a.m., the Ammerer family warmly invites you to the farm festival at Reiter-Christerbauer in Großgmain. The organic hay milk farm is idyllically located at the foot of the Untersberg, directly opposite the Salzburg Open-Air Museum, and has been run as a family business for generations.
At the farm festival, visitors will gain an authentic insight into life and work on the farm. Guests can look forward to live music (Trachtenmusikkapelle Großgmain & Trio Export), culinary specialties from the farm, and regional delicacies in a cozy atmosphere.
A special highlight is the in-house distillery of Johannes Ammerer, a master distiller, who produces over 18 different schnapps and liqueurs from the fruit of the numerous farm-owned trees. The festival offers exciting insights into the award-winning distillery.
In the farm shop of Katharina Ammerer, visitors can also discover and take home many homemade products – including freshly baked bread, eggs, jams, pasta, bacon, as well as schnapps and liqueurs from their own production.
The farm festival offers a wonderful opportunity to experience agriculture up close, enjoy regional products, and spend a sociable day at the farm. All visitors are warmly welcome!
