KlangBlickMomente Benefit Concert with Special Guest David Garrett
The evening is entirely dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families: The ticket proceeds will benefit the Austrian Children's Cancer Aid and will support not only affected children, adolescents, and their families, but also research.
Soprano Emily Pogorelc and star tenor Kevin Conners take the audience on a journey of great emotions with magnificent arias and duets by Verdi and Puccini as well as Broadway classics.
The Italian prodigy Antonio Pavan and cellist Emanuel Graf present sensitive highlights with works by Chopin, Saint-Saëns, Elgar, Fauré, and Prokofiev.
Special guest David Garrett interprets Johannes Brahms’ Sonata No. 3 in D minor together with pianist Vassilis Varvaresos and then brings a work by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to life – played on Mozart's own, original Dalla-Costa violin.
Peter Tomek provides the musical connection of the evening at the piano.
