Certified herbal educator Sophie Winkler will take you on a “herbal walk through the Anthering floodplain forest,” where you’ll discover fascinating facts about our native plant life.

Herbal Walk in the Anthering Floodplain Forest

Let’s discover the hidden treasures of nature right on our doorstep!
During this herbal walk, we’ll explore the rich variety of wild plants growing along our path. We’ll learn how to identify different herbs and how they can be used. Along the way, we’ll take a short break with a small snack, and afterward, we’ll take our gathered herbs home in collection pouches. A detailed handout will help us deepen what we’ve learned.
And for those who are interested, there will be an optional visit to the herbal garden, where over 700 different plant species await discovery!

This walk will be guided by experienced herbal educator Sophie Winkler, whose passion for nature is truly inspiring. Through her blog sophiabotanika.com and her many workshops, she shares her knowledge and encourages us to engage more consciously with the natural world.

As always, families with children are warmly welcome to join the walk with Sophie Winkler!
