On the nightly fortress Hohensalzburg, there has always been a very special atmosphere. We invite children with their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to join us for a small lantern parade up to the castle. Bring your own lanterns with electric lighting, and then we will walk up together. On the way, we will sing songs and listen to stories. To conclude, there will be children's punch to warm up and recharge in the courtyard.

Please only use lanterns with electric lights (no open flames!!!)

Please note that the footpath to the fortress (about 100 meters in altitude) can be steep and slippery in parts. Please make sure to wear suitable footwear and warm clothing!
