At the nighttime fortress Hohensalzburg, there has always been a very special atmosphere. We invite children with their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to join us for a small lantern procession to the fortress. Bring your own lanterns with electric lighting, and we will walk up together. Along the way, we will sing songs and listen to stories. To conclude, there will be children's punch in the courtyard to warm and strengthen us.

Please make sure to use only lanterns with electric lights (no open flame!!!)

Please note that the footpath to the fortress (approx. 100 meters of elevation) can be steep and slippery in places. Please make sure to wear suitable footwear and warm clothing!
