m*PopNight: Highlights from Jazz, Pop, and Rock
Young talents of Musikum Salzburg present a diverse program featuring jazz, pop, rock, and more. Admission free!
The m*PopNight at Musikum Salzburg showcases the skills of the Jazz and Popular Music department. Young musicians from across the state present a varied program featuring highlights from jazz, pop, soul, funk, rock, and blues – developed in individual lessons and in bands such as 'Jamtime' (led by Markus Peitli), the Hallein combo The Millennials, or the saxophone ensemble Saxomania. A special highlight is the premiere performance of the newly formed state youth jazz orchestra 'JuJazzO,' led by department head Stefan Konzett. The diversity of the ensembles and the musical quality promise an entertaining evening with fresh interpretations and time-tested classics.
