Match Me If You Can
A fast-paced comedy about love in the digital age: Two singles meet for their first date – but their profile pictures don’t match reality. An evening full of misunderstandings, laughter, and surprising twists.
In the biting dating app comedy by Nina Hartmann and Gregor Barcal, the absurdities of modern partner search are at the center. The protagonists, Lisa and Martin, have fallen in love online – but their enhanced profile pictures lead to a chaotic mix-up when they meet in real life. The conversation takes an unexpected turn when one of them cancels the original date via text message. The fast-paced staging uncovers with much humor the pitfalls of digital communication: wrong emojis, superficial chats, and the illusion of the perfect "match." An entertaining evening about love in the times of like buttons and casual text messages, oscillating between emotional moments and comical mishaps.
