Mozart: lux æterna is the motto of this anniversary Mozart week, we celebrate the eternal light of Mozart, explains Rolando Villazón, director of the Mozart week. 2026 is a year with not one but two major Mozart anniversaries: It marks the 270th anniversary of Mozart's birth and 70 years have passed since the world’s most significant Mozart festival was established in 1956.

Autograph Vault Guided Tour

1791 – Mozart’s last year. Original manuscripts by Mozart and his family. Limited tickets are available at the ticket office of the International Mozarteum Foundation (Theatergasse 2) and in the online ticket shop. Meeting point at the ticket office in the Mozart Residence.

Duration: approx. 60 minutes. The guided tour is conducted in English.
