A house. A miracle. Mozart! On National Day, October 26, 2026, we open the doors of Mozart's birthplace and invite you to experience this special place.
On Open House Day at the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the history of this significant place comes to life in a vivid way. Visitors gain exciting insights into the past of the house, which played a central role in Mozart's childhood and artistic development. At the same time, the vision of the 'Museum of Tomorrow' takes center stage: How can Mozart's legacy be conveyed in a contemporary and interactive way? The day offers the opportunity to explore these questions and help shape the future of the museum. Under the motto 'Rediscovering Mozart,' a special program is offered—admission is free.
