The central concern of the contemporary photography exhibition named Project Groundswell is to showcase solutions to climate change. The Fotohof has joined forces with three other European institutions in the field of artistic photography and, with the help of EU funding, was able to invite European artists through a competition to engage with the global challenge of climate change. The focus was to highlight solutions to the multiple crises. At a time when awareness of environmental issues is higher than ever, Project Groundswell aims to take the next step: to transform awareness into concrete action through the expressive power of photography.
