Salzburg Easter Festival 2026: Late Night Concert I: Music from Five Centuries
In 2026, the Salzburg Easter Festival opens a new chapter: With Kirill Petrenko at the conductor's podium, the founding orchestra – the Berlin Philharmonic – returns to the Salzach. At the center is a monumental project: Richard Wagner's "Ring of the Nibelung" will be presented on stage in a new production by director Kirill Serebrennikov starting with "Das Rheingold."
Music by William Byrd, Richard Wagner, John Dowland, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Edward Elgar, Anselmo Aieta, Astor Piazzolla, Ángel Villoldo & Dmitri Shostakovich
