Every spring, the city of Salzburg becomes a meeting place for literature enthusiasts. The Salzburg Literature Festival once again invites you to several days of literary dialogue with authors from around the globe, exciting readings in unique locations, and a curiously intriguing program.
For five days, the city of Salzburg will once again immerse itself in literature: from May 27 to 31, 2026, the annual Literature Festival Salzburg will take place, offering a variety of readings, performances, literary walks, and concerts featuring international authors, musicians, and artists at various venues in Salzburg.
The Literature Festival is aimed at interested people of all ages – whether passionate readers, students, families, or visitors who want to experience the special flair of literary encounters and inspiring stories.
