Salzburg Trail Running Festival
The Salzburg Trailrunning Festival is the finale of the trail running season in Austria. Themed "Cityflair & Mountainair", Salzburg offers everything a trail runner's heart desires over three days.
Whether along the Salzach, through spiral staircases and narrow alleys to the Hohensalzburg Fortress or up steep climbs to the Salzburg local mountain; varied trails, a unique backdrop, and a stunningly beautiful panorama make the effort quickly seem secondary.
The wide range of events offers the right distance for every performance class.
Friday:
Nightrun: 5.5km – 80hm
Saturday:
Children's trail presented by Sport Union: 120 – 1,340m (depending on age group)
Suzuki Fortress Trail: 13km – 480hm
Sparkasse Panorama Trail: 6.4km – 170hm
Sunday:
Salomon Gaisberg Trail: 23.8km – 1,344hm
Uniqa Gaisberg Race: 9.2km – 1,060hm
Trail Amadeus: 36.8km – 1,824hm over 2 days
Trail Marathon: 42.3km – 1,904hm over 3 days
