400 Mozarts invade the Mirabell Garden in Salzburg: With the sculpture installation Mozart – The Uncontrollable Genius by the renowned German conceptual artist Ottmar Hörl, the International Mozarteum Foundation celebrates the 270th birthday of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart together with the people of Salzburg and visitors from around the world.

Around 400 gold-colored Mozart figures, approximately 50 cm tall, made of weather-resistant plastic will populate the two narrow lawns in the area Bastion/Museum Pavilion, with a small delegation appearing in the Mozart residence, in the Magic Flute house, and in the garden of the Mozarteum.

Since the transition from public to private space is part of the artistic concept, Mozart fans will have the opportunity to purchase an item from the original installation at the end of the exhibition.
