Isabell Pannagl dissects the madness of the holidays with biting wit and sharp-tongued comedy in "Lametta-Lawine." Christmas Eve becomes the scene of absurd scenarios: children surviving on chocolate Santas, a cat fleeing to the Christmas tree during a crooked "Silent Night," or the cry "Well, I would have been happy with socks too!" triggering a family drama. Pannagl questions the logic of Christmas traditions – why is the wish list more expensive than an inheritance? Why are there more Christmas baubles on front doors than on the tree? And is there even a family where the celebration goes smoothly?
