Experience the city’s landmark in the dark, listen to ancient legends and tales, and explore the darkest corners of the fortress with a flashlight: This is all offered by the family-friendly flashlight tour on Halloween at Hohensalzburg Fortress. In keeping with the Halloween theme, the history of the festival as well as customs from then and now will also be explained. The tour will be conducted in German.

IMPORTANT: The fortress cable car is expected to run only until shortly after 5 p.m. on this day. After that, you will need to walk up to the fortress and also go back down after the tour (about 100 meters in elevation, approximately 15 minutes, not suitable for strollers).
