Experience the landmark of the city in the dark, listen to old legends and tales, and explore the darkest corners of the fortress with a flashlight: All this is offered by the family-friendly flashlight tour for Halloween at Hohensalzburg Fortress. In keeping with the Halloween theme, the history of the festival, as well as customs from then and now, will also be explained. The tour will be conducted in German.

Costumed participants will receive a small surprise!

IMPORTANT: The funicular railway is expected to run only until shortly after 5 p.m. on this day. After that, you will need to walk up to the fortress and also go down again after the tour (approx. 100 meters of elevation, about 15 minutes, not suitable for strollers).
