The Great New Year's Eve Concert
A musical conclusion with waltzes and polkas.
In a musical pleasure journey with the waltz king Strauss, the listeners travel all the way to Boston and St. Petersburg. In addition to the famous pieces by the Strauss family, such as the Kaiser Waltz and the Pizzicato Polka, works by notable female composers will be presented, including Augusta Holmès, Pauline Viardot-Garcia, and Ethel Smyth.
