The Legend of Mercury – A Tribute
The European Ballet St. Pölten invites you on a unique journey through the music and life of Freddie Mercury, the legendary frontman of the band Queen.
The ballet performance Queen combines the powerful melodies and timeless hits of Queen with the elegance of ballet. Freddie Mercury's particular passion for ballet became clear in 1979 during his joint performance with the Royal Ballet. His expression and ability to not only sing music but also to feel it made him an exceptional artist. The dramaturgy of this impressive performance is taken on by Michael Fichtenbaum, while Florient Cador not only choreographs but also embodies the lead role as Freddie Mercury. Look forward to a captivating presentation where great titles like "We Will Rock You," "We Are the Champions," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "I Want to Break Free," and "Radio Ga Ga" come to life.
