The St. John Passion by J. S. Bach – Baroque Masterpiece for Holy Week

The baroque masterpiece during Holy Week remains, almost 300 years after its premiere, one of the most moving works in music history. Bach shaped a magnificent oratorio from the biblical account of the suffering and death of Christ.
